Country Clubs in Florida

Living the high life in Florida enables you to try many different things, one luxury is deciding which country club you should become a member of or which secluded suburb you should lay your roots.

With so many different country clubs in Florida to choose from it can be a difficult choice to make….albeit quite a nice decision all the same!

country club

Here are 3 things you should consider when choosing a country club…

Amenities

Decide on what it is you are after by joining a club and then research to find the club that best matches your requirements.

Cost

Cost is still a big factor in decided where best to place your money, country clubs that cost more will inevitably have more to offer than those that are cheaper…again you need to research what you want and what you are prepared to pay.

Location

Of course location plays a big factor in your decision making also, you don’t want to be driving half way across the state just to play a game of golf (presumably!).

For example – Boca Pointe Golf & Country Club based in southern Florida along the Gold coast and just a short drive away from Miami, Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale is a good option.  Boca Pointe Golf & Country Club offers the member a superb setting with access to a championship designed golf course, tennis courts, athletics centre, 2 full sized olympic swimming pools and spa.

You have a choice of 5 restaurants and the club is also available for celebrations too.

Membership ranges from annual, seasonal, members, non-members and tenant of an equity member.

With all these things to consider when choosing which country club is best for you, it is worth making a list of all your requirements and a list of which country club fits these requirements and then break that list down into cost and location and then you have your short-list.  Make sure you visit each country club before committing to any kind of membership, what looks good on paper may not feel right when there in person.

Personally, the deciding factor for me is if the club can provide enjoyable amenities for my nieces and nephews as well. I’d go for a club wherein everybody in my family can enjoy staying there.. I wish that there are more affordable ones that provide that kind of service. Anyway, great short read. Thanks for this!
