Weight Loss Challenge

Get fit and lose weight – Week 2

It’s been a bad week, not sure what happened but I lost my focus and ate a little too much chocolate!  I didn’t go out and actually buy the chocolate, it was already in the house….Yes I stole the kids chocolate 🙁

So, to get back on it, I’ve been searching for fitness / healthy living blogs to encourage me on eating and fitness.  I’ve come across a few which look pretty good, so just searching through to find recipe inspirations… This recipe from Salads and Sequins for a feta loaf looks yummy and easy to make and plan to make this next week.

I’ve not been able to get to the gym as much this last week due to hubby being away and school sports days etc, but I’m off to climb Snowdon this weekend with my friend Amanda (it’ll be her first time!) so will get some much needed hill walk training.  The tips in this blog post by Keeping healthy getting stylish are well worth a read.

Anyway, back to the weight, even though it was a bad week, I did still manage to lose a little weight, I’m now at 11st 11lbs (165lbs / 74.8kg) so have lost 1lb 🙂 Even though a small loss, it’s still a loss all the same.

Total weight lost: 4lbs in 2 weeks

    Hi Carly,

Congratulations on the weight loss! I’ve heard it said that 2lbs a week is the healthiest weight loss figure, so well done!

I’ve started at a gym again in an attempt to get into shape and get A bikini-body if not THE bikini-body for my short break away with Steve at the end of the month. I’d be thrilled with 2lbs a week!

I’m liking it so far! It’s a technogym, which I feel is pretty cool and helping to motivated me – I wrote about it on my own blog today!

Hope you’re well…good luck for the next week!

Well, nice weight loss 🙂 The best way to keep the motivation is to put blank paper on the counter and imagine you weight as much as you want 😀

A loss is a loss no matter if it’s 1lb or 10lb! I have definitely lost my mojo over the summer, we have had too much nice weather not to sit out in the garden with a refreshing beverage or two. 🙂
