Having an 8-year-old along with an older sibling I’ve found that this year I’m finding that he just doesn’t play with toys as much as he used to, the Lego and Nerf guns have stayed under the bed and especially with the winter nights, they seem to be more interested in going on their games […]

Being a dog owner I wear wellies on a daily basis, even more so now that winter is here. But I’m always on the look out for boots that also keep your feet warm as well as perfectly dry. Wellies in the past I’ve had have failed on both after a while and the last […]

That being said it’s so important to plan the route you’re going to take, especially when you’ve got small children in the car. […]
My name is Carly and I live in the UK. I have 2 boys, 2 dogs, 5 cats and many tropical fish (Yes I am that crazy animal loving person you read about!)…I work full-time from the comfort of my own home, I love music and try and get to as many gigs as possible. The reason I have set up this blog is to document my life as a mum whilst also tackling my desire to travel and have an adventure. I’ve recently completed an Everest Base Camp trek for charity in October 2013 and I climbed Mount Kilimanjaro back in February 2011…currently looking for my next adventure!
