Weight Loss Wednesday – Completing the C9 Detox Forever Living
Ok so this title is a bit late as it’s now Thursday…but hey, it’s better late than never!
Just before Christmas I bought the new and improved C9 detox program from my friend who is one of the managers for Forever Living. But I wasn’t in the right mood to start the program that close to Christmas so held off until I knew I had a good 9 days that I could properly commit to the detox.
The C9 detox is a carefully designed program and it goes something like this:
Days 1 and 2 – Drink lots of Aloe Vera, pop some supplements and reward yourself with a milkshake.
Days 3-9 – Drink a little less Aloe Vera, still pop the supplements, drink more milkshakes AND a meal worth up to 600 Kcal!
Not forgetting to drink as much water as humanly possible! On days 1 and 2 you’ll notice the lack of food, this isn’t completely true as you are allowed free foods (generally fruit and veg that are low GI) if you do get peckish…for me it was the evening so I would nibble on some grapes or strawberries.
At the end of the 9 days I did my final weight and inch loss (taken from chest, biceps, waist, hips, thighs and calves) and in total I had lost 10lbs and 6″ all over, the majority coming from the waist, hips and chest.
To keep the momentum going and so I don’t slip back into old habits I have now signed up to the FIT 1 which is still from the Forever Living range but lasts for 30 days, it will teach you how to change the way that you think about food and exercise whilst providing you with the knowledge you need to get inspired and change your body and health for the better.
I’m determined to get back to the weight I feel happiest!

Ohhhh, I have never heard of this diet before, so will pop and check it out! That is a fantastic weight loss in 9 days. It certainly spurs you on to keep going and like you say helps to retrain your thought process on food!
My hips are my problem area, unfortunately for me my weight drops off my face, neck and fingers first… how random! My rings are falling off… which is a good sign I guess!
Thank you for linking up with Weight Loss Wednesday and hope to see you again next week! 🙂 Sim xx

That’s a great loss for 9 days. Did you gain anything back after a few days? Ive heard of this before as my friend is a rep for them, but the price puts me off, and the not knowing if it will all go back on after.
