Barbour International Venus Scarf – Review
Barbour International is home to the original ‘Biker Jacket’…In 1908 Barbour introduced its first oilskin suit for motorcycling and the love affair with biking began.
Being a fairly new recruit to the Barbour brand (I have one of their popular quilted jackets) I was delighted to be given the chance to review one of the items from the International range and after much consideration I decided on the Venus Scarf.
The Venus Scarf is 100% wool, cream with a classic black motorbike print all over giving it a timeless appeal.
The scarf is a generous size, which means you have many different ways you could style, I came across this really great video of all the different ways you can wear scarves….I never knew so many ways existed!
Even though the scarf is 100% wool, it’s was surprisingly delicate and thin, at first I was worried that this wouldn’t keep me adequately warm, but the beauty of the scarf is because although thin, there’s a huge amount of material that once gathered up together provides a great barrier against the cold.
What I like about the scarf is that you can wear it for many different occasions, it’s very versatile.
The Venus Scarf retails at £59.95 and whilst that is more than I would normally pay for a scarf, I love the compliments that it gets when I’m wearing it and the quality of the scarf I believe warrants the cost.
