Give Your Cats a Treat with Purina Gourmet Soup
Being a cat owner I’m pretty strict on what diet they’re on, I have 5 cats and between them they’re on 3 different diets suited to their needs. This is a carefully formulated diet that I get from the vets where each meal is carefully weighed out. Having said that my cats love wet food and although I have cut this out of their diet in the last year every now and then (and dependent on the cat) I do give them a little treat with wet food on occasion and if I know I won’t have any messy repercussions afterwards!
Purina Gourmet Soup is something a little different for your cats to try alongside their normal diet.

As some of my cats are on such speciality diets I wouldn’t give them anything else, but my eldest cat Marley is pretty good with foods and was eager to try the soup!
The portion size is small but you probably wouldn’t want to give too much anyway. On opening the packet and emptying into a food bowl it is exactly what you would expect, very much soup like (almost brothy) and with generous chunks of meat and vegetables too. As you can see from the picture below, Marley is licking his lips for some more!
Marley gobbled the soup up in no time at all and was soon meowing for some more to try!….next time Marley!

For some reason I imagined having to heat it up like normal soup, so I’m glad that it just comes in a pouch like my cat’s normal wet cat food in gravy!

Thank god for Gourmet cat soup. My darling Puss is dying. He has mouth cancer and cannot eat because the huge tumor on his gum is so painful and has lost him all his teeth but 1. He couldn’t eat and couldn’t poop. The vet wanted to end his life but I wanted to help him have a little comfort for his last days. He has been such a good friend to me and I love him so much I cant let him just be forced to die. I have spent a fortune on both pet food and human food including liquidized food meant for hospital patients to try to get him to eat because otherwise he will starve to death. He could only drink water or milk (cat milk) not anything at all lumpy. Suddenly I saw cat soup on sale so I tried that. He LOVES it. And more importantly, he can drink it. He has got some of his strength back and pooping again. Its not a full meal, of course, but at least he can enjoy a little food for whatever time I have him left in this life with me. Thank you Gourmet, so much.
