KLM launch Bluey The Movie – Helping Children Have a Better In-Flight Experience
Children and Flying can conjure up some pretty interesting experiences as most parents can tell you. As a parent you try to prepare your children in advance of flying so they know what to expect and on-board you have an array of activities and snacks to keep them occupied for the journey.
KLM Royal Dutch Airlines have come up with a series of short movies featuring ‘Bluey’. Bluey was first launched back in November 2014 for children travelling with KLM with several Bluey products, ranging from keycords, trolleys and card games, to a fun Bluey meal box for children on international flights. It’s so refreshing to see an airline making a conscious effort to give the children a better experience. You can read more on travelling with children on the KLM site on what else you can expect from the flight to help you get better prepared.
Now with the launch of “Bluey the Movie” which will be shown aboard all international flights and the KLM YouTube channel from June onwards, children can experience his first adventure at the annual Zundert flower parade! You can watch the film here:
Well animated and a short story line, the short movie is sure to entertain most children and get them excited for the plane journey especially if it’s their first time flying, Bluey is also on his first solo flight too!
In the film, Bluey meets his friend Windy and true to form, she’s windy in nature too, most kids (if like mine) will find this pretty funny 🙂
The aim of Bluey is to help children and parents have a better experience aboard with KLM to make it as stress-free as can be, setting you up for your onward journey.
I’m really impressed by this move from KLM to help parents and children better enjoy their flights and I look forward to seeing what Bluey gets up to next!
