La Hacienda Camping Firepit – Review
Firepits and Barbeques are a standard addition to the hot weather and even well into the cooler months if the rain keeps at bay! Over the summer months I have been trying out the camping firepit from La Hacienda on trips to the Peak District and Norfolk.
Being a firepit designed for camping it is compact and light with folding legs so that you can pack the firepit away in its own carry case. The legs although being foldable, doesn’t mean that the pit is unstable, far from it the firepit was as sturdy as any.
To save you having a firepit and a BBQ, the camping firepit comes with a grill to allow you to cook food as you would on a BBQ and a protective mesh cover to stop sparks. But if a firepit to cook marshmallows on is what you’re after then this will do the job perfectly! The firepit is best used with wood or firelogs, the benefit of the firelogs is that many claim to be smokeless (although I haven’t put them to the test!) but they are certainly easy to light which means assembling the firepit to sitting round a warm fire a very fast process…essential for when the evenings are cooler.
The camping firepit is made from durable steel and the dimensions are height 39cm, diameter 56cm and its weight is 7kg.
The La Hacienda is available at different retail stores with prices varying from £39.99 to £47.00
