Target Dry – Georgia Womens Waterproof Parka – Review
Getting caught in the rain is an inevitable part of the school run, you can pretty much guarantee that if it’s going to rain at any point during the day at approx. around 3:00pm is when it’s going to come!
I have a pretty decent North Face rain coat already but it’s quite thin so doesn’t keep you particularly warm in the winter months…and I do have a really nice Rab microlight down jacket that keeps me super warm but being filled with down means it’s not very waterproof. So I can’t do winter and rain with either of these coats…
The Target Dry Georgia Womens Waterproof Parka fits the gap in my coat wardrobe!
Target Dry is an outdoor clothing brand from Belfast. Who have been designing outdoor jackets and overtrousers with a strong emphasis on quality, value and customer service ever since they started in 1987.
It comes with a lightweight insulation layer and is 100% waterproof so keeps you warm and dry.
What I particularly like about the coat is the longer length, even at my height of 5’10” it comes to about midway between knee and waist with it being slightly longer at the back, providing extra warmth.
The lightweight insulation is just that, the coat is light and isn’t bulky, perfect for driving and feeling comfortable at the same time.
I chose the Military Green colour coat, which was a little brighter than the picture and the metal detail was quite a shiny silver but nice all the same. I did choose to remove the faux fur trim, but it’s easy enough to reattach should you wish.

I actually think this is great value, especially when I compare to the North Face / Rab Jacket I’ve already got, its use obviously is for different reasons but the fact is the coat does the job and keeps you warm and dry.
All in all, I would thoroughly recommend the Target Dry Georgia Womens Waterproof Parka as a suitable coat for the winter months.
I was sent the Target Dry Georgia Womens Waterproof Parka for the purpose of this review, as always all opinions and thoughts are my own.

Thanks Helen, I hate having my picture taken! And I had to employ one of the boys to take them 🙂
