Spy Net™ Ultravision Binoculars – REVIEW
Any parent who even remotely watches kids television would have seen the advert for the Spy Net™ Ultravision Binoculars and if with kids similar to mine, would know that they are more than likely going to end up on the forthcoming Christmas list!
So, when I was kindly sent a pair of the binoculars for the boys it was literally like Christmas had come early!
They’re recommend for 8+, however my eldest who is 7 can easily use them when shown how to operate them and even the youngest at 5 could work them (if given half the chance!)….,you know a toy is good if it caused arguments 🙂
The binoculars have 5 vision modes for the ultimate in spy surveillance! Award-winning Night Vision of up to 15 metres, record video & photos, day time surveillance, Thermo Tech for thermal vision and Ghost Recon to capture shadow agents.
Agents can easily & safely upload their files via the included USB connection to SpyNetHQ.com to analyse their evidence with the lie detector software, conduct video and audio analysis, crack secret codes, train for missions with mini games and more!
We’ve yet to upload the images to the website, this is better suited to the older child and therefore 8+.
Please note you do need to buy a micro sim card so that we could use the camera/recorder, but managed to get one of these for a couple of £ so no real issue there and 4 AA batteries too, but if you’re like me and have a stash of assorted batteries on hand!
The only issue I have found with the Spy Net Ultra Vision binoculars is that the rubber rim that you put your eyes and face up to, comes away a little bit, but easy to re-adjust and they haven’t come all the way off.
At first I wasn’t sure if they would be worth the money, at £49.99 they’re not a cheap purchase, however after watching the boys and the fact they’ve got so much enjoyment out of them so far, I think they are a good buy. The eldest even took his in for ‘show and tell’ which went down a storm and I have a feeling that a couple of his friends will now be adding these to their own Christmas lists!
I was kindly gifted these Binoculars, all opinions are my own (and my childrens!)
