Grisport Aviator Hiking Boots – Review

Fashionable and sensible don’t normally go hand in hand when talking about hiking boots, it’s very rare that I would wear my hiking boots away from the mountains…

Italian boot makers Grisport have overcome this with their ladies Aviator boot, this is a boot I would happily wear with a pair of jeans and not feel like they only belong in the mountains..

Grisport isn’t a brand I’m overly familiar with when it comes to hiking boots yet they should be!  Manufactured in Italy at the foot of the Dolomite mountains their mission is to create the most comfortable footwear available for safety, walking and comfort.

Choosing the Grisport ladies Aviator hiking boot, I gave them a good testing on a recent trip to the Yorkshire Dales whilst visiting relatives.

Being describes as a boot that is at home in the city or on the hills, I can agree that this boot style is versatile enough to be worn for occasions other than hill walking.

I found the boot to be a comfortable lightweight fit (still opting for the size larger than my regular size to allow for thicker socks), they have a rubber sole which has a good grip and have Spotex waterproof & breathable lining with a waxed leather upper.

The Grisport aviator boot comes in a brown and cream combination and currently retails at £89.00.  In comparison to many hiking boots this is a very reasonable price for a boot than can cope with many of the same conditions.

Overall I really like the Grisport aviator hiking boot and Grisport as a brand to consider when purchasing your next pair of footwear.
